I am nine years post menopausal now and have osteoporosis in my lower back and possibly in my left hip. We are not educated from a young age that there is the possibility of developing osteoporosis with the onset of
menopause. This condition affects so many women, and men globally, and education and information is so important regarding what steps to take to help prevent this condition prior to peri-menopause is key. We do not hear enough about Osteoporosis and the effects it can have on your life.

I suffered from such severe anxiety, my ability to cope with every day life was severely impacted, to the extent I lost a job with my employer, I thought I was going mad, and I couldn't get the help and support I needed from my employer or my GP. It was incredibly difficult, and only a conversation with a GP who understand the menopause help me get the help I needed
