Mrs Backovich has been an absolutely inspirational figure when it comes to the growth and spread of the El Rancho Theater Department. In her short time at El Rancho she has used her positivity to put on fantastic shows, build long lasting friendships, and create a teacher-student bond incomparable to any other. She has brought the spirit of theater into the hearts of all her students and has inspired them (us) all to share our love for the theater with others. It is said in rumor only that her “green room” contains artifacts that date back to the dawn of human beginnings, such as; the first ever piano, the clock original prototype, and Rufus Jones’ axe. Due to her departure and her significant impact, I propose her former classroom be officially renamed to the Megan Backovich Theatre.
