When I go to town in my power wheelchair, I have to use the road as the footpaths are inaccessible for a wheelchair. Ochre medical centre in main street attempted to make their practice accessible by changing the door but council will not allow them to put a tiny ramp in as its considered a trip hazard. But this means I'm unable to access my essential monthly GP appointments. 

The current conditions of the footpaths and shops on main street is dangerous and exclusive to people in a wheelchair. I'm not the only person struggling to access everyday needs in Lithgow.

Lithgow council needs to correct the conditions of the footpaths and access to essential service shops on main street such as medical centres.
