Make legislation to STOP Disability Budget reductions in the United Kingdom

My name is Joshua Brandwood, I stand with the Online Motivating Disabled Movement (OMDM). We, as a group, seek to give disabled people the voice they need at a time of massive cuts in the name of dogmatic austerity.
The UK Government will localise the Independent Living Fund (ILF) at massive cost to Local Authorities whose budgets are already stretched thanks to swingeing cuts. This leaves many disabled people unsure as to how to continue a life of independent living, which they have become used to and gives them a sense of self worth.
The mainstream media claim that this won't impact ILF claimants. However, after careful consultation, it is becoming increasingly clear that the impact is already very real, with a significant aftershock on many people’s lives and those of their communities. In fact, it must be said that this is an overt attack on disabled people’s way of life.
Some disability reforms and disability benefits reforms occurred under the last Coalition Government between 2010 and 2015. We will see many more attempts at denigrating disabled people under the new majority Tory government.
This petition aims to gain enough support to gain a full debate on the floor of the House of Commons to stop further disability budget reductions. We once heard David Cameron speak of Compassionate Conservatism, all we are seeing now is him laying down a legacy of retrenchment to outdated Tory ideals and attacking the most vulnerable in our society.
By showing your support for this petition you will show how standing as one with disabled people is a vital part of British society, and most importantly of a decent society. By uniting across borders, political boundaries and personal ones we can begin to change our country for the better.
