The Motel 6 and abandoned businesses nearby have attracted transients and drug abusers causing it to be an extremely unsafe area and is affecting nearby businesses and schools.  There is an Elementary School and High School both within a few miles and it is an unsafe area for minors to be.  There have been several reports of drugs being done in front of the CVS and harrassment of patrons in the nearby businesses.  Women and children don't feel comfortable visiting the area after dark making it more difficult for the businesses nearby to survive. It's not fair to the employees of the nearby businesses to continue to have to work in such a dangerous area.
