Hofstra University has recently posted on its public account an obvious use of generative AI for its advertisement of its new logo. This puts into question of how long it’s been being used, and if even the logos were just made with AI. Hofstra University has many values of integrity which it evidently does not follow with its use of Artificial Intelligence. Not only does this reflect poorly on the people running the media, but it undermines the works of over the 100,000 graduates and many current students that attend the university, especially the creatives at the school. Nothing spells “you are replaceable” much like this terrible show. Make Hofstra apologize, and hire people from its creatives past present and future to create an environment where we can actually have PRIDE for our school.
