Ferrets have been long illegal and prohibited pets in QLD and NT Australia, despite being owned by 155,000 other owners in Australia’s other states. They are a so called threat to the bio security of Queensland, however owners all over Australia claim they hold no pest potential, as well as this, all the other states claim that wild ferrets don’t impose a threat to the bio security of their environment, make a change for these furry cuddly friends!

If this is successful, ferrets will be allowed to have a safe life in Queensland and will be able to be cared for appropriately and with the appropriate help of veterinarians, as well as being a domesticated cuddly friend for you to have fun with, if not, the ferrets will still be illegal in QLD and a $60,000 fine applies for keeping a ferret, which is absolutely ridiculous, make a change!
