For anyone with a sensory issue, wearing a mask can be pretty distracting, especially when thinking about one thing. This does not give anyone with a sensory issue a real chance of passing their driving test. one way to get around this is if the driving instructor is willing to wear theirs, and we all do covid tests before getting into the car and all the windows were put down so air could get into the car. This is one thing that can happen to help the issue.

I have ASD which is a form of Autism and on top of that I have sensory issues which makes it very tricky to wear a mask and a lot of people who have a sensory issue will understand this.

When I was booking my theory test I was told that I would have a book out the whole place for a day just to do my theory test which would have been very embarrassing for me.
I had to get an MP to help me sort this out and the only place I could do my theory was Belfast in a separate room away from everyone else and it was embarrassing even to do that. 

now that I have my theory test the next issue is the driving test. I have talk to nearly everyone I could think of so far to help me get this sorted and everyone I have talked to seem to not understand  what is is like to have a hidden disability and wear a mask.

If this wins anyone who has a disability in Northern Ireland will not have to wear a face mask during there driving test
