For years QE dancers have been putting hours of effort and tiring work into dance pieces to compete for the school. Dance is considered a sport around the world, why should we draw the line at schools? The QE dancers deserve to be recognized for the hard work they do and should not be undermined this way. We deserve to be acknowledged for what we are as dance is just as much a physically draining activity as any other sport. We’ve earned our title and we are prepared to fight for it.
