In NYC loud construction in allowed, even in residential neighborhoods, from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm on weekdays. Seven in the morning is too early for this to be allowed. My goal is to change the law and force construction to begin after 9:00 am. This will make our city much more pleasant to live in. I personally have a construction site near me that starts with heavy and loud machinery and hammering at 7:00 am every day Monday through Saturday so I know personally how this significantly lowers quality of life.
