Here’s an update on what’s happening on today’s episode of Cobb Middle School being absolutely run by morons:

Passing period is being shortened to 2 minutes. In this two minutes, we are expected to get to classes on the other side of the school AND use the restroom as we can only go to the restroom once a week per class.

Phone law has been updated. No phones in hallways and are to be put into phone holders provided by the teachers of each class. If you forget to put your phone in your phone holder more than 3 times, you have to pay the office $15, then it raises progressively until the school takes away your phone permanently. Ultimately, a $1000 fine for forgetting the presence of you 6 inch cellular device. These rules are unreasonable and kids have no say in what happens in their school. This is NOT fair. Sign this petition to let the Board to know that they have made unreasonable requirements for the students and teachers. There is also a possibility that phones could also be banned during lunch, therefore preventing students from contacting their relatives, with out school involvement no matter the circumstances. Which means a teacher of AP will have to monitor all calls and texts you send. Which a violation of privacy. Reminder, this is NOT confirmed yet. Help us make Cobb and other FISD schools better.
