- At secondary schools we are taught a foreign language. Mainly French or Spanish. I believe BSL should also be an option to learn in languages as I think it would be more useful than French or Spanish. Sign language can help your brain to learn how to express yourself a lot more than a language as people are more likely o encounter a deaf person then someone who only speaks French or Spanish. Learning new things especially something like Sign language can sharpen your brain. It can help your communication and expressing your feelings. Studies show that people who use sign language have an improved ability to use their senses. Sign language can help take frustration off of people who are hearing impaired as it is easier to use sign language rather than try to understand people trying to shout at them. I believe that sing language would be more useful to more people than learning to speak French or Spanish.
