With mental health affecting 1 in 4, and suicide rates rapidly rising, I am asking for some consideration into installing high, anti-climb barriers along all road and railway bridges, as well as other exeptionally high areas such as multi stories and river bridges.

Obviously there is a cost for such things, and time would also play a considerable factor but the money spent in expenses when an incident occurs. 

As someone who has attempted on bridges, I know how much a barrier in the way can add time. Time for someone to notice and reach out, time for your mind to change, time that could save a life. I beloeve if just 1 life a year is saved through installation of barriers then its a job well done. 

We cannot put a price on life, and it could be you or someone you love on that bridge next week.
