The 2020 MLB Season will feature the Nike "Swoosh" on the front of multiple teams Jerseys. This is a departure from previous jerseys as the company logo was discreet and was not a part of the teams branding. 

The sport should be about the teams and players, not corporations. The "Swoosh" can be moved to the sleeve and still be a part of the jersey. 

American sports have held out for the most part and not let advertising take over. The stadiums are already chalk full of non-stop ads, the uniforms should remain a platform for the team only. Firiegn Soccer teams are a good example of too much advertising.  Their jerseys are covered in brands with many teams adopting a brand as a team name.

Nike's recent delve into politics also has many to pause for concern. With our nation so heavily divided, baseball has remained a politics free platform  and helps unite our great country. Many boycott the company as is and may boycott the MLB as a secondary protest to Nike.

Keep baseball pure and remove the logo completely or move it to the sleeve.
