Chase Vaughn started this petition to Major League Baseball and

On April 2, 2021, Major League Baseball made the unnecessary and irresponsible decision to remove the All-Star Game from Truist Park in Cobb County, Georgia. This is deeply disappointing and infuriating that the Major Leagues caved under the pressure of the useless leftist sheep. This is just one of the many organizations that have decided to bow down to the immature cancel culture snowflakes who only wish to get their way about everything. MLB also made this decision because they must somehow have the belief that removing the major event will have an effect on the new voting law and will allow the offended snowflakes to once again get their way. This is false as the document has already been signed into law and can not be changed just by organizations performing mindless actions. Instead, this thoughtless act will only hurt the state of Georgia, the Atlanta Braves, and, most of all, the small businesses whom they claim to support. Furthermore, the removal of this event will only negatively impact the numerous businesses in and around Cobb County by taking away a substantial source of income that they have been planning to receive for two years. Additionally, many people, myself included, are having a hard time understanding what exactly is so terrible and life-changing about the new voting law. First, it does the correct thing by requiring people to show proper identification to cast a ballot. People’s outage by this is uncalled for, as many of the same “citizens” who cry out in rage use that same identification to buy alcohol and tobacco products. An identification is also required to obtain medical services, sign up for benefits, and to perform everyday actions such as cashing a check. Secondly, many people are upset that it prohibits the distribution of products while voters wait in line. I honestly do not understand why this is a big deal, but if people are so concerned over waiting in line, here’s an idea: VOTE EARLY! Lastly, many individuals have the absurd belief that it oppresses the minority vote. This is false, as it provides the same opportunity for every ethnicity to cast their ballots. Honestly, they are indirectly putting down the minority races that they are supposedly trying to help by continuing to claim that they are in unsuccessful and low income areas that would have trouble voting. Additionally, the hypocrites must not be allowed to win this issue because, if they do, they will begin censoring everything that fails to fit their agenda in the entire state of Georgia. If the reader believes that this debate only applies to the game of baseball, think again. Eventually, they will start to come for much more major things than baseball such as one’s entire way of life, just for having a different belief than them. I ask the reader to please consider supporting this petition to bring the All-Star Game back to Georgia to help small businesses in the Cobb County and northwest Georgia area, prevent the radical left liberals from getting their way by just throwing hypocritical lies at all their problems that they create for themselves, and stop the constant berating of Georgians over a rightful law that only affects our state and has absolutely nothing to do with the other forty-nine states, various territories, and the District of Columbia. The cancel culture can NOT be allowed to win!  I thank the reader for taking the time to thoughtfully read this petition.
