The easement that runs behind the whole street located at Parkridge drive in Molendinar is causing a safety risk to the community. The property has not been maintained by the Department of Main roads or Gold Coast City Council and now it is a public risk. With numerous calls to the Department of main roads nothing has been done to date.  Vermin are now entering properties and to the owner’s expense they must get them removed. Department of Main roads and Council requirements are - maintenance on public land, assess for tree pruning, assessment of GGCG pest management unit for advice to clean / tidy easement. Back fences and retaining walls are moving, cracking and falling over making it unsafe for the public. We pay our rates and want action to be taken ASAP. We must come together in numbers to be listen to and for action to be done.

We have a volunteer lawyer who is assisting us with this matter and will present our petition to resolve this matter.
