The appearance of the Chandler Park entrance represents the Berryhill Community. This summer was the 1st time in the 60+ years of the Park that the Parks authority chose not to mow and maintain it. Excuses ranged from feeding the bees to wild flowers. Many generations of children have enjoyed sledding down the hill, that is another tradition they want to stop. Another tradition of families using the entrance hill to view the 4th of July Tulsa fireworks display wasn't possible due to the high grass and weeds. We are only asking for the County Parks Authority to maintain the Park entrance as they have in the past.
