A national shortage of taxi drivers in Ireland due an over regulated industry, led by the NTA and our Transport minister who care more about a newer fleet than the safety of the general public!

Our government are forcing us out of the industry whilst making it impossible for new comers to set up whilst blaming Covid for the shortage! They are hell bent on stopping the general public from enjoying any moment of life by limiting where you can go and how you spend your money. 

Taxi drivers need the following changes to continue operating in Ireland and to get customers  home safely! 

1. Increased age limit to 15 years for all vehicles 

2. Ability to sell/transfer a vehicle license to allow drivers to retire with dignity and new drivers to begin. 

3. All drivers who obtain a PSV license should have access to a vehicle license of their choice! Either taxi, hackney, limo or WAV. If not do not issue a PSV License.
