Help keep Public Transit in Digby’s Downtown Core ...

The Town of Digby has recently voted against allowing the King’s Transit bus route to pass through the downtown core.

This decision is limiting for those with and without disabilities. The sidewalk downtown is a steep hill and unsuitable for wheelchairs. In addition both the Scotia Bank and Eye Doctor in Annapolis Royal have closed and are now only available in downtown Digby.

Many residents rely on public transit to: access jobs, essential services, local businesses and the Digby hospital. Removing this route would effectively cut off half the town for those without access to a vehicle or disability transportation.
