Freeze rents and mortgages in Maine while the corna virus is a national crisis
Freeze rents and mortgages in Maine while the corna virus is a national crisis

I am personally within the high risk category for contracting and recovering from The corna virus at the same time I am facing homelessness with my child along with many other individuals and families of the state of Maine and across the country . We together will as well if rents and mortgages are not frozen while the nation is in a state of crisis due to the corna virus.
The average rate of rent and mortgages per month are far beyond the stimulus package. With statistics showing that most Maine residents live pay check to pay check and have little to no savings and or are self employed these are our most vulnerable. Please let The State of Maine Government know that you care about the children and elderly and high risk population. Tell these vulnerable people that they will at least have a roof over their heads during this very uncertain situation for all citizens and noncitizens alike
I am requesting a freeze of rent and mortgages until the president of these United States of America or his representatives have deemed that we are all safely able to resume as before with our daily lives. Without a freeze on rents and mortgages we will all be pressed not to conduct business as usual and return to work when funds are low for basic human essentials. This is a state of emergency and should be treated as such by providing safety for thousands upon thousands of people who are at risk for losing their shelter in which we have been ordered to shelter in place and avoid being in public. Such a strange concept that an order has not been placed to date to provide security for shelter. Thank you for sharing
