We need your help and support by signing this petition to help get justice for my sister who suffered a horrific attack by her jealous ex partner.

(Joe Falconer)  had beaten my sister  (Gemma Robinson)  severely in November 2019,  he strangled her so she could not breath and repeatedly punched her in the face. She sustained horrific injuries, broken eye socket, cuts to her lips, bruises all over her face, neck & arms.

My sisters Ex partner was waiting to be sentenced but  unfortunately the psychological impact of the horrific assault that joe Falconer did to my sister on November 2019 took its toll and she decided to take her own life instead of face him in court July last year.

Her abusive ex partner got sentenced on the 4th of February 2021 and they have only  given him a 3 year & 4 month sentence for the horrific crime he has done.  With this sentence this means he would be out of prison in a matter of 6 months because he has been in remand since the attack.

Myself and my family feel cheated by the justice system and we want to see a much longer sentencing for Joseph Falconer as he was the reason my sister decided to take her own life. 

We are appealing his sentence but there is no guarantee it will get accepted so  with your help by signing this petition we will get a chance to fight this sentence and get the justice my sister deserves.
