Instead of having a timed I-ready that makes us do 45 minutes, I propose that instead we do 1 or 2 lessons that we pass and teachers look at how long it took us to assess if we need help. I feel like teachers do not look at how long it took you to do a lesson, as long as you are doing it and have gotten your 45 minutes. This is unfair, especially since they are using I-ready for placement. Spending 45 minutes looking at a screen benefits no one and will not give proper results. I need your help to show the Magothy River Middle School Administration that as a whole, we do not like this and it isn't a few teenagers who don't like school. I know that you want a change in this system and that is what I am proposing.
