this is my boy friend best friend and its sad to see him in pain everyday or when some one says his name and how he remember everything that happened. i hate seeing him and his friends in that much pain.

...police throughout Canada continually over-step their boundaries...police think they are "above the law", and can pick and choose the justice they please...a sorry commentary on the Canadian justice system...

Police officers and their family members are not above the law in such cases they should be treated like any other member of the public when involved in such a horrible accident

This disgusting Sharlene Simon should be hung untill dead in a public execution. Killing someone is not enough apparently. Her husband ( a police officer) should also be removed from the force as a co-defendant.

no one, not even a police officer, should be above the law.... the favouritism shown to the Simons because he is a police officer is inexucable, and thus the investigation following is biased........ and where does she get off sueing the estate for her 'pain and suffering"

Suing the estate! that just shows what the lady is all about, and someone like that would easily try to hide the truth if it made her look bad? Was she texting or on the phone?
