Macoupin County Animal Control and Adoption Center: Return Bullet
Hi, I'm almost 18 now and when I was 16, I rescued a dog from someone when they had to move and because they couldn't take Hercules now known as Bullet with them. He was a 1 year old German Shepherd mix when we got him and should now be around 2 years old and 6 months. We found out soon after bringing him home he chased cattle, so we penned him for awhile then regretfully my mom took him to a shelter. We went back to readopt him less than a month after because we felt bad about him being kenneled again so we decided to work with him. The response we recieved was not what we were hoping. The manager, Buzie said no because she thinks we have to many dogs and he needs a home with no other animals and serious help. We have only two dogs, a female blue heeler mix, and another male german sheperd who doesn't chase cattle. I have no idea of Bullet's whereabouts now but I would like to know that he is doing well and either got adopted or is getting help.
