This is actually such a good idea that I haven't thought about and now I'm concerned about it! I don't want to go to a university that basically promotes what it teaches is bad..

Universities should be cultural leaders -- and very visible about it -- in the work of investing ethically; i.e. recognizing that profiting from destructive global engagements is a very short step from engaging directly in those destructive activities.

Of all institutions in our society, universities should lead by example. Ethics and ethical actions, teaching by example, SHOULD be at the top of their goals, and therefore Maclean's Magazine should hold them to account just as the media should hold ALL institutions and leaders to account. To do otherwise is simply hypocritical.

It's very simple: don't invest in institutions that are ultimately wrong in any way.
