We, and many other members of the Lynn Public Schools community, have planned a proper first step to solving the issues that many students and faculty, past and present, of LPS have come forward about. We’ve already gotten support from various staff members and students.

However, our best chance at change is if we all unite together as a community and sign this petition advocating for

• mandatory Cultural Competency classes for staff members and students

• a strategically-chosen, and diverse board of students, alumni and staff members that is designated to handle racial injustices

• and other initiatives to help prevent further altercations
