We aim to temporarily stop public schooling to further prevent the spread of COVID-19. There are already 60 confirmes cases of COVID-19 and 4 in Contra Costa alone. The Corona Virus is a virus that is excelling at a rapid rate, and without putting an end to major public events or education, the Corona Virus will only get worse and affect more victims. Concerts have been canceled because of it and even Iranian officials have died to it as well. To prevent the spread of COVID-19 we ask that schools temporarily shut down until we can get a hold of the virus.
