Lynn Compton/Dana Reserve Corruption Call Out!

Lynn Compton/Dana Reserve Corruption Call Out!
Nick Tompkins, who is hoping to win approval for his Dana Reserve Development Project in Nipomo which would convert 228 acres of open space into a development of 1,300 new homes (removing thousands of native oak trees in the process) is trying to buy influence with San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisor Lynn Compton. He donated $30,000 to a Political Action Committee whose express purpose was to prevent Arroyo Grande City Councilor Jimmy Paulding from being elected on June 7th through a smear campaign that local media watchdogs agree is misleading and deceptive.
In an interview published on May 7th with the San Luis Obispo Tribune, Tompkins claims he did not know what his donation would be used for and called for the mailers he paid for to be taken out of circulation. He told the Tribune: “Politics have become way too divisive.” Tompkins prefers “middle of the road” candidates willing to “look across the aisle” to get things done.
Really?
If Thompkins and his Dana Reserve Development Project really believe this, we have the following requests:
1. Thompkins and Dana Reserve Project should ask the "Back the Badge" PAC for the return of the $30,000 donation OR request for the PAC to donate the total amount to local charities instead of trying to divide our community.
2. In light of the $30,000 dark money donation to her campaign efforts, Lynn Compton must publicly pledge to recuse herself from the Dana Reserve Project if she is re-elected.
