My Lyft driver account was deactivated for an incident that I was found not at-fault for in which Lyft’s Safety Team did not allow time for the report to come back that I was in the clear. I was not driving for Lyft at the time of the incident however, I was driving for Uber in which they cleared up the incident and deemed me as not being at-fault and they decided to continue my Uber Drivers Account. I believe that I was mistreated because Lyft did not look into the details of the incident by reviewing the police report, as well as speaking with my witness who was a Uber passenger at the time of the incident. My witness voluntarily spoke with the highway patrol to explain what happened and both parties saw that I was not in the wrong. Being a hardworking Black African-American male, during this difficult time with a pandemic happening, I’m losing income in my home because of how my case was wrongfully handled. I do live from paycheck to paycheck and Lyft was one of my main incomes to support my wife and my 5 children. I currently have a 5-star account with Uber and was also a 5-star driver with Lyft. If you can find it within your hearts to help restore my Lyft Driver Account and to understand how this decision has seriously effected my finances and my home. Thank you
