Since the bin collection has changed to two weekly collection I’ve had nothing but issues trying to make 2 weeks of waste fit into one small brown bin. I try my best to recycle however so many products I purchase have at least 1 element of packaging that can’t be recycled. Hence my bin being filled by this packaging. I then either have to wait for the next week with bin bags lingering about until the bin is emptied. Which is not only unheigenic but I shouldn’t have to do this in this day and age. I won’t even get started on the ever increasing council tax! Where is this money going?! Or I pay someone to take it away and some people do not have a liscense Hence why fly tipping is increasing.
Solution
Either reinstate weekly bin collections or fine fine fine the big companies that can afford to be fined. Rather than people fly tipping when they have no other means of disposing of such waste.
