Save Milton from Anglian Water

The Cambridge Waste Water Treatment Plant is relocating. This has potential dire consequences for people living in Milton.

They have chosen 3 sites, and 2 of these sites are close to and directly upwind of the village. THE SMELL WILL BE EVEN WORSE THAN BEFORE.

These also cause huge issues for residents living in Histon, Impington and Cottenham.

Site 1 and site 2 both sit on the west side of the A10, horizontal to Milton. Due to the Atlantic we have a consistent west to east (westerly) wind. Meaning the smell will blow directly in to the village.

This will affect the community, businesses, house prices and pub gardens. Not to mention the building works affecting the A10.

Signing this petition shows support from the local community to stop Sites 1 and 2 from being considered.

Whilst demanding further site consultation by Anglian Water to relocation to an area further outside Cambridge, where no local communities will be affected.

Anglian Waters site consultation ends on the 19th August. At this point I will be sending this petition to the company, as well as to our MP Lucy Frazer.
