We demand that the LUC administration re-evaluate Etienne's case for staying at AvB as a tenant in his second year. First-year Etienne Horesyni is unfairly facing eviction from AvB this summer due to no fault of his own.

A few months ago, he applied to leave the building next year for financial reasons, believing he would find cheaper housing in another place. He made clear in his emails to the LUC administration that he wasn't able to leave until he found cheaper housing and that he was thus unsure about leaving. In his emails, he continuously emphasized that he was only considering this as an option rather than committing to leaving LUC's AvB. A few weeks ago, he learned that the university had permanently terminated his contract, without his consent. His application to potentially leave AvB has instead been treated as binding. Despite calls with various LUC staff, no one has been able to or willing to help him. During reading week, Etienne had to deal with this news and the uncertainty of not knowing where he would be able to stay next year.

Etienne is a key part of floor 19's community and of the AvB community as a whole. He simply cannot leave next year.
