The new has started a new ban on certain items, targeting females and people of color. We find this offensive, as  is not representing the school that we are. For example, if you have a bigger chest, you are not able to wear low cut shirts, or anything that is not a u-cut type of neck. You are also not able to wear certain hair protecting head wraps or belts, due to "gang-related activity" or safety concerns. You are also not able to go to school without un-brushed hair. You can not wear sweatpants with a pattern. We are also unable to wear leggings without a shirt that covers below our butt. It is unreasonable thatooks at us at such a way to make sure that we follow dress code. The only things a male can get dress coded for is, showing undergarments, muscle tanks, and jeans that are too tight.  has also changed the two-finger rule, to three fingers now, for tank tops and shirts. has also told female students that you can not expose your bra straps because it will make the boys thing of you naked. Females have also gotten dress coded for wearing male related clothing items.
