We need mask mandates in all K-12 schools in Little Rock School district to end immediately! Parents it is time we take a stand for OUR children! Our mission: to get the school board to meet as many times as it takes to end mask mandates on our students and allow parents to decide if they want to send their kids to school masked or unmasked. This is a parent's choice, not the districts. 

Therefore, we the parents of the Little Rock School District are respectfully asking the elected members of the School Board to meet and vote on mask wearing for the remainder of the 2021/22 school year per the parents’ discretion. Parents need to make the decision to have their children masked in school if they deem it necessary. 

Secondly, We the parents are asking the Little Rock School Board to discontinue the policy of mandatory quarantine if a student is contact traced. The percentage of students who become positive after an exposure in our schools is minimal. 5 days of missed class time is detrimental to the learning environment and the mental health of our children constantly being bounced back and forth from in person to virtual and back again. We the parents understand that it will be our decision to quarantine our children if they are contact traced by the school.
