As of last week, Loyola University Maryland changed their commencement date to May 14. With this decision, came the announcement that Latin Honors and our cumulative GPA will not be calculated or recognized at our commencement ceremony. As students, we believe our hard work throughout our time at Loyola should be recognized. Please sign this petition if you agree with this sentiment and if you are wanting to have your latin honors be recognized at commencement. We, the class of 2022, ask that the loyola graduation planning committee take this into consideration and make the necessary changes to make sure our hard work is recognized at our commencement ceremony on May 14.
