SGA created the B'More Kind Campaign in response to the increase in bias incidents at Loyola this past semester.   SGA will continue to work closely with administrators, faculty, and other student leaders to push for a more inclusive environment. Small steps can make a huge difference when it comes to stopping and intervening bias at the source.

We as students need to intervene and stop bias related to ableism, anti-Semitism, colonialism, islamophobia, homophobia, racism, sexism, transphobia, and more. As Loyola students, we have a duty to uphold Jesuit values, such as integrity, honesty, and justice.  We need to be informed and recognize the inherent bias we all carry.

In order to achieve this, we need your help. We need to B'More as members of the Loyola community.  Whether you're a current student, an alum, or faculty & staff, we encourage your participation. Please sign our Kindness Pledge below:

"I, as a member of the Loyola Community, pledge to recognize bias, and to intervene when I see it happening. I am committing to becoming more informed of the biases prevalent on campus, in our classrooms, and throughout our society. Regardless of the impact bias has had on me personally, it is my responsibility to contribute and cultivate a positive and inclusive environment. I hope to equip myself with the tools necessary to intervene and address bias by utilizing the resources available."
