Does it seem fair that some students who can get a better education than students who can't afford a good education? The New York University costs about $40k after the financial aid was applied. This school has a 21% acceptance rate, which is below a 50% acceptance rate. New York University is one of the top schools in New York and there are a lot of students who would love to be accepted to this great school. But, unfortunately 79% of the students who applied to this school couldn't enter because of financial issues for the entry or they couldn't afford to stay for more than two years in this school. If only there was a way that the Department of Education can just lower the cost of the tuition for these excellent colleges, so that students are able to have a better life and education. The Department of Education can also make it easier for students to enter the school as well. I am calling on David C. Banks to make this change for the greater good for students in New York City.
