We need to make voting in America a habit for 16 year olds. They can be more informed in civics than any 18 year old. We need to let 16 year olds have their voice and opinion heard in the land of the free. If they win that right, they can help fix the problem of the low voter turnout rate going on in America and lead to more voting within a presidential election. If they continue to not have this right, the problem of the low voter turnout rate will just continue. Although about 78% of the U.S. population is 18 or older, only 48% (30% missed out on) actually voted.
