The government levies (called many different things and broken up into different categories) makes up 50% of the fuel price - lowering their take will make it slightly more affordable for South Africans whose salaries are not increasing at the same rate as the cost of fuel.

The R1.50 per litre that the government has forsaken until May 2022 is not enough. The move needs to be permanent.
