With our cost of living "sky rocketing". I care about having chickens because it helps us, our family, friends and neighbors to produce our own food. Raising chickens is just adding to our vegetable garden and to help children learn more about life as it is.  Being able to be self sufficient in these times and days. We have been native to this community all our lives. We have lived at our present address for 22 years. My husband is semi retired and I am in full retirement.

We would like to see the change of property size to be half an acre, to have chickens in residential area. We look at you as being city council representing our community, you have the authority to change the ordinances of decisions to help better our community.

If the new ordinance is approved, then we are working towards being self sufficient in these times and days.

If this new ordinance isn't approved, then we will not be self sufficient, as we would need to be.
