We need to take advantage of the US's monetary policy. If interest rates were to increase, the cost of borrowing would increase. Though that sounds like a bad thing, people having less money to spend, in the long run, it's beneficial. When people have less money to spend, there would also be a decrease in the amount of money circulating which would then increase the value of money in the US.
