Currently, at RATA (Redmond Academy of Theater Arts) many members of their community have been getting frustrated and worried with the current prices in place. 

For an example, the price to be in a production is currently set at $600. Adding onto this, each cast member (or their family) must provide with volunteer hours, though the penalty for not making the hours is $200. There is another requirement for providing concessions, each paying $50. Participators in the productions receive 10 tickets for friends and family, once used to be free, and now are only a 10 dollar-off discount. 

Many of us are confused, rightfully so. Receiving $600 per person is an extremely good amount for a non-profit. A disclaimer, this is not a hate speech, hate crime, discrimination, or meant to threaten or prompt bullying in any way. We want to understand why prices are high, and need a way now.
