Don't let Infiniti dealership park their cars in a residential neighborhood!

Once again, a large business concern is about to invade a residential neighborhood in Ardmore. The sprawling Infiniti dealership on Lancaster Avenue is seeking a zoning change to allow it to park cars on an adjoining lot on Holland Avenue. This lot was the site of a twin home that was torn down, AND IS ZONED RESIDENTIAL. The Lower Merion Planning Commission, who have demonstrated very little regard for Ardmore neighborhoods, was about to make this change, without input from neighbors who live on the street. Allowing multiple cars to be parked on a residential street degrades the neighborhood, creates noise and car emissions, and is a danger to the 52 kids who live on the street.
Ardmore residential areas are disappearing, as large commercial interests are being given free rein by Township commissioners who do not respect our neighborhoods. We the undersigned Lower Merion Township residents say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. We strongly oppose the zoning change, and request the Planning Commission not to allow it.
