The Lower Merion School District is located in a predominately white area. We do not need to hear more white voices in our English curriculum. Although some teachers have apparently been pushing for change, nothing has happened. It is inexcusable. This is a change that can and should happen NOW, not in two or three years. We need to seriously address the issue of racism in our community, and it starts here.
