LUHFT are about to reintroduce Car Parking charges accross the sites.

Currently the cost of living and the energy prices / fuel prices are increasing on a daily/weekly basis. Paying to park at your workplace is another deduction in wage we can all do without. 

We ask that the current cost of parking charged to staff is reviewed and mainly improvements made to the security and Maintenace of car parks. (more CCTV etc)

There has been hundreds of incidents to date of damage caused and theft from staff vehicles (Catalytic Convertors).

We pay enough in Insurance/Tax/MOT and for the vehicles themselves, a discussion on reducing the cost per month on parking to help relieve some financial strain on trust staff and car park improvements would be welcomed.
