In the past 2 years, the whole world has experienced the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic. And although some countries have efficiently controlled the situation and vaccinated their populations, some are still dealing with the after-effects of the pandemic.

Additionally, the syllabus is extremely large considering the short amount of time we've had, sometimes switching from online lessons to offline lessons throughout this past academic year. It has been notified to all the students that new content has been added to the syllabus making it even harder to fit everything into the 7-8 months period. 

Although we understand that grade thresholds result from the overall performance of the students, we wanted to request consideration of the circumstances that the students have been learning in that surely applies to the majority, and therefore, the reason why the people/students signing this petition are humbly requesting Edexcel to lower the grade boundaries for the May June 2022 series because the students have hardly had enough time to adjust completely to the syllabus change and prepare fully for the exams that are given.
