So many people across the world are struggling at the moment with the current energy hike off nearly 50%. Even people who work are now spending half the wage they’ve earned on keeping their families warm. People that don’t work are in a dyer position. Universal credit pays hardly anything as it is and now single non working parents/ people are lighting candles, eating their kids leftovers because they can’t afford to buy food, can barely afford to heat their home. This isn’t right! There’s enough poverty in the world without plunging the world into even more. The government need to step in and lower energy costs immediately.
