Hello Clairmont Community, 

As a resident that has been around for 20+ years, I have noticed a drastic change of safety and security within the community. I am a mother of two beautiful humans, and I worry about their safety within our community as they grow with the speed of vehicles being reckless. 

We are a community which includes all coming together to be respected, honest and come together to ensure that our future generations will be able to play safely without any accidents occurring in this area. 

Within months there has been two accidents leaving pedestrians sustaining injury’s that have affected them greatly. We can put a stop to it by watching out for one another. 

I believe lowering the speed limit will help tremendously within years to come as Clairmont grows for our children to be allowed to play and run around freely without an incident occurring. 

We are adults, we are responsible for their future, their lives, and their safety. Whether you are behind the wheel you are responsible for obeying the speed limit and not be a distracted driver. 

Please sign the petition today if you believe Clairmont should lower the residential speed limit to 30km within the Hamlet.
