We the undersigned oppose the building of RaceTrac Petroleum Inc. fuel dispensing station on the corner of Dixie Highway and Flowervale road located in Louisville KY. The company proposes to build a fuel dispensing station in a residential neighborhood. Building this fuel dispensing station will devalue homes in the Winding Brook subdivision located less than 100 meter from the proposed fueling station. The hard working middle class American families do not want to sit on the porch having their morning coffee and see, hear and smell, semi-trucks and the increased traffic in the area.  

The proposed site will bring local traffic onto a dead end street. The proposed property is off of 31W and Flowervale Rd. This area is already a congested area that creates numerous accidents at this dangerous intersection. The proposed fueling station will bring in over 100,000 gallons of fuel with in a 100 meters of nice homes currently estimated at $200,000.00.  The residents homes will not only be devalued, but will increase the residence of numerous environmental and health hazards.
