The Louisiana State University fighting tigers football team has made it to the most prestigious game of the season, The National Championship. This game takes place on Monday January 13th, which is the first day back for the spring semester. This petition is to show the Louisiana State University board that they should push back the starting of the semester to allow their students to cheer on their team. The LSU student body has been know to have a large amount of school spirit and needs to be present for their team in their hardest game of the year. The student body has brought a "roar" to every game this year to pump up the team and lead them to a successful season. For this reason, Louisiana State University should cancel school on Monday, January 13th, and Tuesday, January 14th, in order to better cheer on the tigers victory in New Orleans.
